Ibanez AZ22S1F-VLS Electric Guitar, Violin Sunburst
Classic Style, Modern AZ Versatility
The Ibanez AZ22S1F-VLS blends timeless aesthetics with the modern versatility of the AZ series. Finished in a traditional Violin Sunburst, its flamed maple top adds visual elegance, while the alder body ensures a balanced, resonant tonal foundation suited to a wide range of musical styles.
Designed for players who demand flexibility, this model transitions effortlessly from warm cleans to punchy overdrive, making it equally at home on stage or in the studio.
Smooth Feel and Reliable Performance
The roasted maple neck is heat-treated for enhanced stability, durability, and resistance to environmental changes, offering a consistent and comfortable playing experience. Its natural feel supports both rhythm work and lead playing with ease.
A jatoba fretboard adds warmth and midrange richness, complemented by jumbo stainless steel frets that provide excellent durability and effortless playability. Whether bending notes or executing fast passages, this setup ensures clarity and precision.
The Super All Access Neck Joint allows for easy reach across all 24 frets, supporting more advanced techniques and extended playing sessions.
Versatile Tonal Options
Fitted with Ibanez Classic Custom pickups in an S-S-H configuration, the AZ22S1F-VLS delivers a wide tonal spectrum. The alnico single coils in the neck and middle positions offer smooth, articulate tones, while the ceramic bridge humbucker provides powerful output and definition for heavier styles.
The dyna-MIX9 switching system with Alter Switch expands tonal flexibility with nine distinct sound combinations, including convincing humbucker and single-coil options. A T106 tremolo bridge allows for expressive control, while locking machine heads ensure stable tuning.
