A Versatile, Modern AZ Designed for Players Who Need It All
The Ibanez AZ24S1F brings the acclaimed AZ playability and tonal flexibility into an accessible Standard-Series model, complete with a stunning Flamed Maple top and dual-humbucker configuration. Designed for modern guitarists who need to cover everything from shimmering cleans to heavy rock tones, this guitar delivers precision, comfort and adaptability in equal measure.
Smooth Roasted Maple Neck with Jatoba Fretboard
The Roasted Maple neck provides superior stability, enhanced durability and improved resistance to temperature changes – perfect for touring and studio environments. Its naturally smooth feel pairs beautifully with the Jatoba fretboard, which adds a crisp high-end response and balanced mids. Jumbo stainless-steel frets ensure long-lasting performance, low maintenance and excellent articulation across all 24 frets.
Flamed Maple Top with Modern Custom Alnico Pickups
Featuring a visually striking Flamed Maple top on an Alder body, the AZ24S1F offers rich resonance, balanced brightness and full-bodied sustain. The Ibanez Modern Custom humbuckers provide punchy tone, fast response and superb definition – especially under overdrive. Their Alnico V magnets ensure warmth, clarity and enough aggression for modern genres, from blues-rock to progressive metal.
T106 Tremolo & dyna-MIX10 Switching for Maximum Flexibility
The T106 tremolo bridge provides smooth performance with independent saddle adjustment for precise setup. The dyna-MIX10 switching system, paired with the Alter Switch, unlocks ten versatile sound combinations, including powerful humbucker tones, cutting single-coil-style voices and blended modes ideal for session work or live versatility.
