Vic Firth VF‑SJDN Signature Series – Jack DeJohnette (Nylon Tip)
Bright Articulation with Jazz‑Driven Flow
The Vic Firth SJDN Jack DeJohnette Nylon Signature stick builds on the classic SJD design, adding a nylon tip for brighter cymbal clarity and enhanced durability.
Designed with jazz and fusion icon Jack DeJohnette, this model retains the familiar stretch‑5A profile while delivering extra definition on ride cymbals and percussion surfaces.
Stretch 5A Feel, Enhanced Definition
With the same extended length and medium taper as the wood‑tip SJD, the SJDN offers greater reach and leverage than a standard 5A, without sacrificing balance or touch.
The teardrop‑shaped nylon tip produces clear, cutting articulation—ideal for modern jazz, fusion and studio work where cymbal clarity must shine.
Distinctive Look, Professional Performance
Finished in a green painted coating, the SJDN provides a unique visual identity and consistent grip feel.
Crafted from premium American hickory, it delivers the responsiveness required for expressive playing while withstanding the demands of frequent performance.
