Vic Firth VF‑SAJ Signature Series Akira Jimbo Drumsticks
Precision Balance and Expressive Control for Fusion & Technical Playing
The Vic Firth VF‑SAJ Akira Jimbo drumsticks are a signature model developed with legendary Japanese fusion drummer Akira Jimbo, designed to deliver exceptional balance, clarity, and dynamic control.
Built for technically demanding styles, these sticks support expressive phrasing, refined articulation, and smooth transitions across the kit.
Featuring a carefully weighted hickory shaft and a custom wood tip, the SAJ model produces warm, articulate cymbal tones alongside excellent stick definition on drums. The overall feel is responsive and controlled rather than aggressive, making these sticks ideal for fusion, jazz‑rock, progressive, orchestral crossover, and studio work.
