Vic Firth VF-RXH RUTE-X Heavy Gauge
Maximum Durability and Power in a Synthetic Rute®
The Vic Firth VF-RXH RUTE-X Heavy Gauge is the heaviest and most powerful model in the RUTE-X series, designed for drummers who want maximum projection and durability while still controlling volume.
Constructed from synthetic polymer rods rather than traditional wood dowels, the RUTE-X Heavy Gauge delivers unmatched consistency and longevity in demanding playing environments.
Compared to wooden Rutes, the RXH offers a slightly brighter attack, increased rebound, and exceptional resistance to breakage, making it ideal for players who regularly destroy lighter alternatives. It bridges the gap between rods and sticks, performing well in rock, pop, worship, pit, rehearsal, and amplified acoustic settings where reduced volume is desired but authority is still required.
