Vic Firth VF-RUTE505 Rute 505
Lighter Touch and Faster Response for Subtle, Controlled Playing
The Vic Firth VF-RUTE505 Rute 505 offers a lighter, more flexible alternative to the original RUTE®, making it ideal for players who want greater finesse, faster response, and lower overall volume.
Designed with fewer, thinner bundled dowels, the RUTE505 provides excellent rebound and articulation while maintaining a softer attack than standard drumsticks.
Perfect for acoustic gigs, lighter pop and jazz settings, worship environments, and low-volume rehearsals, the RUTE505 sits closer to brushes in feel while retaining more definition and stick-like control. Its reduced mass makes it especially comfortable for extended playing sessions and nuanced dynamic work.
