Developed in collaboration with Boston Symphony Orchestra timpanist Tim Genis, the GEN7 sits firmly in the articulate end of the Symphonic Signature range, offering clarity without sacrificing tonal presence.
A compact white felt head is built around a wood core, delivering a highly focused attack that speaks instantly on contact. This design makes the GEN7 ideal for rhythmically complex passages, exposed melodic writing and situations where rapid articulation is essential.
Persimmon shafts contribute a darker underlying character and excellent balance, ensuring the sound remains musical even at higher dynamics.
