Vic Firth VF-5BVG American Classic® 5B – With Vic Grip
Classic 5B Power with Enhanced, Slip-Resistant Control
The Vic Firth 5BVG takes the legendary 5B profile – loved for its power, balance and versatility – and equips it with Vic Grip, a durable, water-based, eco-friendly urethane coating. This slip-resistant surface offers superior hold during intense playing, making it an excellent choice for drummers who need extra control without altering the natural feel of the stick.
Retaining its medium taper and tear-drop wood tip, the 5BVG still delivers the warm cymbal tone, strong projection and comfortable rebound the American Classic® line is known for.
Confidence and Consistency for Every Genre
Whether you’re powering through rock and pop backbeats, laying down groove-heavy funk, or working on rudiments, the added grip ensures stability across long rehearsals and high-energy performances. Crafted from premium USA hickory, each pair is weight-matched for consistency and durability.
