Ibanez RGD721FA-WUF 7-String Electric Guitar, Stained Wine Red Burst Flat
Extended Scale Power for Modern Metal
The Ibanez RGD721FA-WUF is purpose-built for heavy music and extended-range performance, delivering the clarity and tension required for lower tunings. With its longer 26.5" scale length and deep cutaway body design, this RGD model provides enhanced string definition and comfortable access to higher frets.
Finished in Stained Wine Red Burst Flat, the flamed maple top offers an elegant yet aggressive visual, perfectly suited to stage and studio use.
Tight Response with Premium Playability
The Wizard II-7 5-piece panga panga/walnut neck is engineered for strength and stability while maintaining a fast, slim profile ideal for technical playing. Paired with a Macassar ebony fretboard, the guitar produces tight lows, articulate mids, and crisp highs, ensuring clarity across all seven strings. Jumbo frets further enhance smooth playability, particularly for lead work and fast passages.
A flamed maple top sits over a layered ash and okoume body, delivering a balanced tonal combination with bright attack, strong sustain, and excellent resonance. DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups provide a tight, modern tone with precise low-end response and clear high frequencies, making them ideal for high-gain applications. The coil-tap switch expands tonal versatility for cleaner and more dynamic sounds.
The Gibraltar Standard III bridge ensures solid sustain and playing comfort, while Gotoh MG-T locking tuners provide excellent tuning stability and quick string changes. Luminescent side dots improve visibility in low-light environments.
