Aquarian NOS14 – New Orleans Special 14″ Drumhead – Texture Coated

The Aquarian NOS14 New Orleans Special 14"" Drumhead is a textured coated snare batter head designed to capture the open, musical response associated with New Orleans drumming. Built from single-ply 10mil film, it delivers medium-weight feel, warm articulation and balanced sustain, making it ideal for groove-focused players who value expression and touch. A thin Power Dot layer adds subtle reinforcement to improve durability while allowing the head to remain open and responsive. This helps the NOS14 retain musical sustain and dynamic sensitivity without choking the drum. Designed for second-line grooves, blues, funk, jazz and southern-inspired rhythms, it produces a versatile snare tone with just the right amount of sustain. The textured coating provides feel, control and classic coated warmth, making it suitable for brushes, sticks and expressive dynamic playing. Ideal for drummers who want a snare head with vintage vibe, groove-friendly response and practical durability, the NOS14 offers a strong blend of musicality, feel and character.
