Aquarian NOS12 – New Orleans Special 12″ Drumhead – Texture Coated

The Aquarian NOS12 New Orleans Special 12"" Drumhead is a textured coated batter head designed to deliver open tone, dynamic sensitivity and vintage-inspired groove character. Built from single-ply 10mil film, it provides a medium-weight response with musical sustain, warm articulation and expressive feel. A thin Power Dot layer adds subtle reinforcement, improving durability while preserving the open and responsive nature of the head. This construction makes the NOS12 ideal for players who want strength and control without losing touch, sustain or tonal complexity. Inspired by the rhythmic feel of New Orleans drumming, it is well suited to second-line, blues, funk, jazz and expressive groove-based styles. On toms, it delivers warm resonance and lively projection. On snare drums, it provides articulate response with just the right amount of sustain for dynamic playing. The textured coating adds grip, feel and a classic coated sound, making the NOS12 a versatile choice for drummers who prioritise groove, musicality and vintage character.
