Zildjian K2018 20" K Symphonic Light Pair – Brilliant
Brilliant, Rich and Expressive Symphonic Projection
The Zildjian K2018 20" K Symphonic Light Pair delivers a lighter-weight orchestral crash voice with rich, dark tonal colours and an elegant Brilliant finish. Designed in collaboration with Marc Damoulakis of the Cleveland Orchestra, these cymbals feature Zildjian’s cluster hammering technique, creating an aged-in feel with effortless playability and exceptional sensitivity across the dynamic spectrum. Whether performing soft, atmospheric passages or commanding orchestral swells, the K2018 pair maintains tonal consistency and smooth projection.
Balanced Attack, Long Sustain & Orchestral Versatility
The 20" diameter provides a full, dark, resonant crash without harshness, while the medium-heavy weight, large bell, and flat profile ensure a well-balanced attack and sustained shimmer. Positioned between the Classic Orchestral and K Constantinople ranges, the K Symphonic Lights offer a mid-range core voice that blends seamlessly with ensembles yet confidently cuts when required. Ideal for concert band, percussion ensemble and professional symphonic settings.
