Aquarian JD14 – DeJohnette 14″ Drumhead – Texture Coated Black

The Aquarian JD14 DeJohnette 14"" Drumhead is a black texture coated batter head designed to deliver warm tone, smooth response and distinctive visual style for tom and snare drum applications. Constructed from single-ply 10mil film, it provides responsive feel and musical projection while offering a fuller, rounder sound than many standard single-ply heads. The thicker-than-normal black texture coating adds durability and playing feel while helping create a warm, controlled and expressive tonal character. Favoured by jazz and fusion players, the DeJohnette series is valued for its round tone, subtle articulation and impressive fullness at a range of dynamics. On snare drums, the JD14 delivers a warm and responsive attack with a softer tonal edge. On toms, it adds body, warmth and musical sustain. Its versatile response also makes it suitable for wider live, studio and rehearsal applications where tone and touch are important. With its distinctive black coated finish and expressive sound, the JD14 is an excellent choice for drummers seeking warmth, feel and a refined musical voice.
