Aquarian JD10 – DeJohnette 10″ Drumhead – Texture Coated Black

The Aquarian JD10 DeJohnette 10"" Drumhead is a black texture coated tom batter head designed to deliver warm tone, expressive response and distinctive visual character. Featuring single-ply 10mil construction, it provides the sensitivity and openness of a traditional single-ply head while producing a fuller and rounder tone than many standard coated designs. The thicker-than-standard black texture coating adds feel, durability and tonal warmth, helping create a controlled but musical response. Favoured by jazz and fusion players, the DeJohnette series is known for its rounded sound, smooth articulation and impressive body at different dynamic levels. On a 10"" tom, the JD10 adds warmth and depth while maintaining clear attack and responsive stick feel. Its versatile character makes it suitable for jazz, fusion, acoustic styles and general-purpose playing where musical tone and touch are important. The black coated finish provides a distinctive appearance that stands out on stage while supporting a warm, expressive sound. Ideal for drummers seeking sensitivity, tonal fullness and unique styling, the JD10 delivers a refined tom voice with excellent musicality.
