Ibanez GSR206B GIO 6-String Bass Guitar
Phat II EQ · PJ Pickup Configuration · Walnut Flat Finish
Extended-Range Bass with Natural, Understated Style
The Ibanez GSR206B takes the accessible GIO bass platform into true extended-range territory, offering a full 6-string layout that covers everything from deep, authoritative lows to expressive upper-register melodies.
Finished in a tasteful Walnut Flat, it delivers a clean, organic look that pairs beautifully with its modern playability.
Wide-Ranging Tone with Low-End Authority
A PJ pickup configuration provides a flexible tonal foundation, combining the warmth and punch of a P-style pickup with the clarity and definition of a J-style bridge pickup.
The onboard Phat II EQ adds an active low-frequency boost, allowing players to dial in extra depth and weight – particularly useful for modern rock, metal, fusion and progressive styles.
Comfortable Feel for a 6-String Instrument
Despite its extended range, the slim GSR maple neck keeps the GSR206B comfortable and approachable, even for players transitioning from 4- or 5-string basses.
A solid B16 bridge ensures reliable tuning stability and consistent sustain, making this a dependable choice for practice, rehearsal and live performance.
