Aquarian DVII-8 – Deep Vintage II 8″ Drumhead – Vintage Coated

The Aquarian DVII-8 Deep Vintage II 8"" Drumhead is a vintage coated tom batter head designed to bring deeper, warmer and more organic tone to smaller tom sizes. Built with two 10mil plies for a total 20mil construction, it provides strong durability, controlled response and enhanced low-end depth while retaining musical resonance. The Deep Vintage series is designed to capture the feel and character of traditional calfskin heads, giving modern drums a classic tone with improved consistency and reliability. Aquarian’s Vacuum Molding Process helps eliminate dead air spots between the plies, improving resonance, depth and tonal consistency. The thicker Vintage coating slows the vibration of the head, creating a warmer, lower response with a softer playing feel and traditional appearance. On smaller toms, the DVII-8 helps add body and warmth while maintaining articulation and dynamic response. It remains musical at lower volumes and powerful when played harder, making it suitable for vintage-inspired kits, jazz, roots music and general-purpose playing where a warmer small tom sound is desired.
