Ibanez AZ24P1QM AZ Premium HSS Electric Guitar, Deep Ocean Blonde
The Ibanez AZ24P1QM Premium is a highly refined electric guitar built for players who need tonal flexibility, exceptional comfort, and professional‑grade construction in one elegant instrument. Finished in the striking Deep Ocean Blonde, this AZ Premium model blends eye‑catching aesthetics with the ergonomic design and tonal balance that has made the AZ series one of Ibanez’s most respected modern platforms.
Modern Versatility. Premium Feel. Effortless Playability.
Designed to cover everything from articulate clean tones and expressive blues to high‑gain rock and modern fusion, the AZ24P1QM delivers inspiring performance thanks to select tonewoods, premium electronics, and player‑focused hardware.
Quilted Maple Top / American Basswood Body
The quilted maple top enhances note attack and definition, while the American basswood body delivers a smooth, even response with excellent sustain. This pairing produces a balanced tonal foundation that handles both clean and distorted tones with ease.
Oval "C" Roasted Maple Neck
Ibanez’s roasted maple neck is heat‑treated to improve stability, durability, and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. The comfortable Oval C profile feels natural in the hand, making it ideal for long sessions and advanced techniques.
Roasted Maple Fretboard
The roasted maple fretboard delivers a fast, articulate response with rich sustain. Smoothly rounded fretboard edges provide a luxurious feel and encourage effortless movement across the neck.
Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets
Stainless steel jumbo frets offer exceptional durability, smooth bending, and crisp articulation. Their wide, tall profile ensures a quick response whether you’re playing chords or intricate lead lines.
Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ HSS Pickup Configuration
The AZ24P1QM features a versatile HSS layout with Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups:
- Neck & Middle (Hyperion Single‑Coils): Clear, balanced, and expressive
- Bridge (Hyperion Humbucker): Punchy, articulate, and powerful
With moderate output and Alnico‑5 magnets, these pickups preserve clarity under gain while remaining highly responsive to dynamics and effects.
dyna‑MIX9 Switching System with Alter Switch
The dyna‑MIX9 system provides nine distinct tonal variations, allowing seamless switching between humbucker and single‑coil voices. One setting even simulates a humbucking tone using two single‑coils, drastically expanding sonic options without complex controls.
Gotoh® T1502 Tremolo Bridge
The Gotoh T1502 tremolo offers smooth action, excellent tuning stability, and precise articulation. Its steel saddles and die‑cast zinc tremolo block ensure a responsive feel and consistent performance.
Gotoh® MG‑T Locking Tuners
Premium Gotoh MG‑T locking machine heads improve tuning stability and make string changes fast and hassle‑free — especially useful for players who use the tremolo regularly.
Ergonomic AZ Body with Super All Access Neck Joint
The sculpted AZ body features a deep waist, generous forearm contour, and Super All Access Neck Joint, providing unrestricted access to upper frets and outstanding comfort in both seated and standing positions.
Luminescent Side Dots
Glow‑in‑the‑dark side dots ensure clear visibility on dim stages and in rehearsal spaces.
