Zildjian A0082 – 23" Avedis Sweet Ride
A Big, Warm, Expressive Take on the Classic Sweet Ride
The Zildjian A0082 23" Avedis Sweet Ride expands the iconic Sweet Ride concept into a larger, more powerful format. Retaining the hallmark features of the beloved 21" model – musical stick definition, shimmering wash, and crashable thin-tapered edge – the 23" version delivers even bigger presence, deeper tones, and enhanced crashability. Its medium-thin weight, traditional finish, and classic Avedis alloy produce a warm, expressive ride sound with a rich blend of overtones ideal for all-purpose playing.
This 23" Sweet Ride offers a broad dynamic range and a full, blooming wash, while maintaining enough clarity for articulate sticking. The oversized bell cuts cleanly through any mix, making it a versatile choice for drummers in rock, pop, blues, worship, funk, and studio settings. With its expanded surface area, it delivers silky, musical crashes that make it a favorite for players seeking both ride control and explosive crash potential in one cymbal.
